This time of year I'm usually out just chasing pike and perch, but today I fancied a session I set out in search of some river / creek chub. It was an awesome frosty morning. The method of attack being stick float and ledger fishing. Obviously there is a chance of catching anything with this method, so barbel and silverfish were on the cards also, but i wasn't expecting to come across this rare river slob!
