Описание к видео Stephen King, Silver Bullet (1985): Then and Now, Filming Locations & Trivia, Episode 3

The final installment of the Stephen King, Silver Bullet (1985), Then and Now: Filming Location video (1985 vs 2021). This finishes the last of the filming locations and includes a never before published location of Mac's Gun Shop and also shows the exact locations of the baseball scene where Rev. Lowe stalks Marty and the locations of the chase and where the covered bridge scene was filmed. The video ends at the Coslaw house location.

I filmed twice down in the Burgaw and Wilmington areas, September and December 2021. This is a long video but I love to dive into the details One of my motto's is, "Details Matter". I appreciate you watching and I love to hear from you. There is inevitably something that is missed or something overlooked so if you have more information or trivia about the movie or filming locations, please comment below.

There are a lot of people who helped pull all of this together. I want to thank my two boys for filming me on the two different trips. That is Dylan's voice at the very end of the video and that is him on the baseball field with me. We spent about 45 minutes hitting and throwing the baseball on the field from the movie. Very fun time!!!

Dylan and I met with Jock Brandis for milkshakes afterwards, but not at Robertson's Luncheonette. Jock not only worked on this film but also on Maximum Overdrive (filmed the next year). I currently working with Jock on a project that involves Katherine Hepburn. There will be a video out later this year on that collaboration. Also, be on the look out for a podcast with Jock in June on The Midnight Movie Snack Podcast.

Thanks to Chris from the The Midnight Movie Snack Podcast for his friendship and encouragement in producing these videos. He is a true fan and these videos are for the hardcore fans. He also has a talent for creating t-shirts and that t-shirt I wore throughout the videos was created by him. See the links for his IG, t-shirts and for the podcast:

The Stephen King, Silver Bullet Facebook group has been very supportive and they have been a great resource. The guy who runs the page loves this movie and his devotion to the movie is evident at how well the page is ran. One of those main contributors is T.D. Wolfe and this guy has found the majority of locations that have been published about the movie. Check out the page and follow. Hopefully we will have them on the podcast in October as we celebrate the 37th Anniversary of the release of the movie.

Fast Rewind website and Nick Alway for the great resource and assistance that he provides. There haven't been too many 80s films that aren't covered on the site. My go-to for all my 80s movies locations, Thank you my friend!

One of the my oldest friends, Jon Hobgood, lives in Wilmington. He was my eyes and ears down there on these videos. He scouted out a couple of locations for me and I greatly appreciate it! Dionne Warwick would be proud of you :-)

Thank you to my nephew, Joe Gibbs, for his help on the bridge scenes. I will be adding more details on the bridges here very soon. The covered bridge was a prop for the movie. It never existed as a real covered bridge but the bridge it was built on existed and you can still visit the real location of where this great scene was filmed on Shaw Highway in Burgaw.

Thank you to all who have took the time to watch this video and to support my channel. If you haven't subscribed, I please ask you, if you will. It means a lot that you have taken the time to not only watch but read this description. I will try to give more content here as often as I can. I know I had 20 minutes of deleted footage that would have overwhelmed the video.
