Leila was only 12 year old when her dentist referred her to us. Her symptoms were constant ear pain / jaw joint pain, face pain, neck pain and shoulder pain She had to take ibuprofen several times every day. As soon as it wore off, the pain returned.

Leila came to see Dr Raman for an evaluation in 2016. She went through a series of diagnostic neuromuscular testing to determine the optimal jaw alignment. She was then fitted with a neuromuscular fixed orthotic for 90 days. During this period she noticed that all of her symptoms were improving. By then end of the 90 days her ear pain / TM Joint pain and neck pain were improved. Her parents chose Neuromuscular Functional Orthodontics as her Phase 2 option.
