The 1st Athens Intelligent Security Hub powered by AA Alarm was held with great success, at the War Museum, where the visitors traveled on the wave of artificial intelligence (AI) and had the opportunity to discuss about new strategies in the field of security and holistic and effective solutions for a sustainable future!
The speakers of the conference showcased emerging solutions and the latest trends in security system technology, for making everything smart -cities, buildings, hotels, hospitals, ports, retail, cybersecurity etc.
They referred extensively to issues of Civil Protection and innovative technology solutions for the early detection, immediate notification and above all the automatic prevention of incidents.

The presentation of the conference and the coordination of the panel was undertaken by the journalist Magda Tsegou.

The welcome speech was given by Constantinos Aravosis, professor and holder of the UNESCO Chair for Green Innovation and Circular Economy at the National Technical University of Athens and former General Secretary of Forests and Environment and Water at the Ministry of Environment & Energy.
The Regional Governor of Attica, Nikos Hardalias, was represented by the Deputy Regional Governor for Civil Protection, Leonidas Manolakos, while Yiannis Georgizas, Managing Director of the EATA, represented the Mayor of Athens, Mr. Haris Doukas.

Giorgos Babalis, General Manager of AA Alarm, spoke about the challenges of the technological revolution and presented new technologies for Civil Protection, smart cities and buildings.
Rafael Martin, Genetec's Sales Director for Southern Europe, talked about how the company is transforming the security industry through the integration of business and information.
Marco Anselmi, Business Development Manager of Hanwha Vision Europe, presented a wide range of digital surveillance systems - open platform security cameras, in the presence of Chaewon (Jeff) Lee, Managing Director of Hanwha Vision.
Alessia Saggese, Ph.D. and Co-Owner of AiTech, presented how using video analytics makes everything smart and with its artificial intelligence algorithms, the company implements innovative video analytics solutions for people, vehicles and environmental monitoring.
Michael Schäfer, General Manager of SEDI, talked about construction safety in small scale solar solutions and GREEN & SMART products.
Christian Heller, Sales Director and CSO of Frogblue, presented smart building solutions and the new frogSIP-Terminal.
Dr Argyris Tsamakos, CEO of WizzIT, spoke about AI in Cyber-Security.
Alexandros Athanassoulas, President & CEO of Stirixis Group, Vice President & CEO of Clubs Greece and Founder of Metallaxis.org, presented the Smart way of working and the role of artificial intelligence in sustainability.
Christodoulos Fragoudakis, teaching and Research Associate, NTUA, explaining IMPETUS presented how we can turn climate commitments into action.
The Giveaway with gifts from Hanwha Vision and FROGBLUE was held by Spyridoula Mitsopoulou, Director of Development & PR of AA Alarm, responsible for the organization and coordination of the conference.

Stelios Kympouropoulos Member of the European Parliament with New Democracy and member of the E.P.P., a member of the Committee on Regional Development and the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, informed the public about European initiatives and legislations in force.

Outside the hall, in the foyer, visitors had the opportunity to watch the live demonstrations and case study presentations at the demonstration booth, enjoying customized SMART & GREEN security solutions, while after the end of the day they were given a tour inside the War Museum.
