hope you had an awesome December and New Year's Eve and were able to slow down a little bit. December can feel like one of those crazy months.

As a business owner, I've learned to take time to reflect on the past year, considering the things that worked, the great moments, the not-so-great moments, and the lessons I learned.

One of the things I did in December was craft what I'm calling my "8 Core Values of Content Creation in 2026".

The world of video and social media is constantly changing, and with the emergence of AI as we look toward 2026 and beyond, I believe it will continue to evolve.

For us as business owners who are using tools like video and social media to build trust, awareness, and connect with the people we want to serve, I think we need to define what we stand for in how we communicate.

I spend a lot of time studying and researching successful content creators and what is working with video content on different social media platforms, like what businesses are finding success with. I do this because I love it and live and breathe this world, but I also do it for you, the business owner, so you don't have to keep up with where things are going.

I'm excited to start this new year by going through each of the Eight Core Values individually. These values will also be the theme for a monthly webinar I'll be hosting in 2026. The goal is to help you be effective in creating content in 2026 and feel good about the time and investment you spend on social media, making sure you feel like you are making progress.
