About the monthly music project:
In 2017, I had an idea to create/record 1 tiny song each month. It was my way of getting music back into my life, though turned out to be far more than that…it became my mode of healing, of radically rebuilding/creating my life at a time everything (including myself) was in seemingly hopeless shambles. I had no recording experience, very limited gear, and wasn’t sure I could actually come up with a new song each month! I'm learning by doing, the process of growing on full display. I am healing from chronic health issues that have had a massive impact on my life, influencing what I am able to do day to day. I share a lot about the lessons I have been learning through my health journey, as it has intertwined with my creative journey. This project has been life-changing and life-saving, it has helped me grow as an artist and person, it has/is making dreams come true, it lights me up, it heals, it has been key in transforming my life.
