Today we did a very brief introduction to Fundamental Analysis. We discussed the three main financial statements and what they could reveal, we discussed what different fundament values might mean and created a scan to find stocks with "good" fundamentals. We also discussed that "good" fundamentals do not guarantee a profitable trade.

We ran a stock screen in Schwab.com and reviewed the parameters of the search. We showed how to move those search results into a watch list in thinkorswim and how to do a time-saving scan in thinkorswim to find stocks that were trading above the 50 period moving average that we discussed last week as part of our sample investing plan.
