I watch the shadow of a dragonfly’s wing,

So many chase grain or fight for their space,
But I’m just at rest in this beautiful place.

I don’t seek the power, I've no need for the throne,
I look for the moments that bloom when alone.
Up where the rafters... are dusted in gold.

The Giant moves with a mountain’s slow grace,
With lines like a map on his weathered old face.
They think he's just tending the flock and the latch,
Or throwing down crumbs 'cross our dirt-covered patch.
But I long to perch on his shoulder and view...

The flock exists in the noise, hustle and grit,
They’re so blind to the wonder hid ‘round it.

Breeze is a traveler from a forest afar,
Whispering to us where the high mountains are.
They call this our run, a home made of wire,
But I see a cathedral, the soul of a choir!
