Oral pathologies can occur in the mouth, salivary glands, or jaws, and though not all pathologies cause symptoms, we recommend being mindful of any changes in your mouth. If you notice a change in the color or texture of the mucosa (the skin on the inside of the mouth), it could be a warning sign that you are developing an oral pathology, and you should seek an evaluation by an oral surgeon so that you can be diagnosed and treated promptly. Like all oral surgeons, Drs. Baker and Jepsen are trained and skilled at diagnosing and treating oral pathologies.

Dr. Jepsen finds great joy giving patients the very best oral surgery care. He discovered his love for oral surgery when he worked as an oral surgeon in the military for ten years — the ability to help patients feel better almost immediately is a wonderful experience. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and, while there, was a member of the National Dental Honor Society. He completed residencies at Tripler Army Medical Center and Madigan Army Medical Center. Dr. Jepsen has also received several military awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal, the National Defense Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Medal.
