YappApp - Just in: A shooting has taken place in Chapeltown, Leeds. The shooting is on Reginald Street, just off Chapeltown Road.

Eyewitnesses say that a man received gunshot wounds to the head, and that paramedics spent a significant amount of time working on him at the scene before been airlifted to hospital.

Both the Police and Air Ambulance was at the scene. A Police cordon is in place and has in the last few minutes it is being extended.

The condition of the victim is unknown at this current time, although eyewitnesses say they believe the incident was extremely serious and fear the worse. They said they will be praying for the victim and their family.
