Recorded within the OPUS SoundBed at SXSW, Father Sol blends organic world percussion, ngoni, and channeled vocals into a healing sound journey designed for meditation, movement, and awakening.

Father Sol, the first single from the forthcoming album Ancestral Resonance: Opus Live Sessions, is a song to the rising sun — an expression of gratitude for the returning dawn, and a prayer asking for guidance and illumination.

Guided by Poranguí’s masterful improvisation, the music weaves the soothing tones of the West African ngoni with charango textures, earthy drums, and ancient vocables. The performance invites the listener to surrender, heal, and call on the light of the sun to guide their path.
