The limited edition Samsung Galaxy Note 8 gets a makeover of the Winter Olympics

During the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics, we are used to seeing athletes proudly parading their phones, recording videos and taking selfies while everyone watches them. Now Samsung wants to be part of that invaluable exposure. The company has announced that it will supply more than 4,000 special edition Galaxy Note 8 devices for team members and all Olympic athletes competing in the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Games.

The Galaxy Note 8 of the limited edition of the Olympic Games PyeongChang 2018 presents a white glass back that represents the winter adorned with gold Olympic rings that are inspired by the Olympic torch. The phone has the same specifications and functions as the standard Galaxy Note 8, but it also comes with PyeongChang 2018 pre-loaded wallpapers. Athletes competing in the Winter Paralympic Games will also receive the device along with a special case that presents the logo of the Paralympic Games.
