In preparing to release ALL MY BEST this Greatest Hits CD, I knew a new
song would emerge as a bonus. Like when Sting discovered “FIELDS OF GOLD” for his greatest hits compilation. Who would have known that my bonus “YOUR VESSEL” would also open up a whole new format = Spiritual or Contemporary Christian to my arsenal of aspiring accolades! The original title to this song was “LORD LET ME BE YOUR VESSEL” . I can remember writing this in Honduras over 30 years ago when I was on a mission trip to help build a hospital for the Honduran people . This was the first of many songs I wrote for the 15 part Spiritual Documentary I produced called HANDS FOR HONDURAS all available on youtube! This year when searching for my original music to share for an annual production The Carson Follies the title was shortened to “YOUR VESSEL” for this year’s theme OCEAN COMMOTION ! Over four months in pre-production and rehearsals, the “live” performance of this song is presented here. I am using a new pseudonym CHRISTIAN KAY which was actually reserved many years ago when I
signed up as a BMI Publisher and Writer! Here are the lyrics:

This December is also a bittersweet memory because last Boxing Day my
manager, mentor and musical overseer Bobby Winkelman passed away! My instant inspiration with intellectual integrity who was also a Jester a Gentleman and most of all a Friend and Fellow Traveler on this Road of Life! Robert Paul Winkelman took the time to examine my full career and all of the songs I had written over the years, either solo or with my songwriting partner Andy Plumbridge. From the 16 X 12 song albums I’d produced, he chose the songs he felt were superior for my my ultimate release ALL MY BEST where each song has the potential of being a hit! Each track an undeniable hit that could rise up the charts and become a standard
everyone sings! The culmination of nearly 60 years as a solo singer songwriter !

This is his musical legacy and to make sure it came true Bobby Winkelman
put me in touch with an amazing engineer Nicholas Stolier who has a state of the art recording studio to make his vision come to life! The last thing Bobby Winkelman did was to arrange for an outdoor concert where our High Def video Guy Bill Coyle came and captured the magic that has been the foundation for all the songs released so far for ALL MY BEST. In keeping with this tradition, the “live” music video for “YOUR VESSEL” is being released on the last day of 2024. However the best is yet to come when the studio music video for “YOUR VESSEL” is released as the Easter Egg for this album in March of 2025! This amazing video is so powerful it has been known to “ bring a chill” to viewers as the realistic sailing sequences truly
simulate what it’s like to be on the water! However I feel there is much more atstake than what’s happening here! Nothing short of the Holy Spirit inviting anyone to come to the Lord ! That is why we are urging churchs to use this visual visionairy to welcome new members through baptism which is at the heart of this song!
