HOLY GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST ACCORDING TO SAINT MATTHEW
At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

See that you do not despise one of these little ones.
For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

CEBUANO TRANSLATION

ANG PAGBASA GIKAN SA EBANGHELYO SUMALA NI SAN MATEO
Niadtong panahona ang mga tinun-an miduol kang Jesus ug nangutana, "Kinsa man diay ang labing dako sa gingharian sa langit?"

Gitawag niya ang usa ka bata ngadto kaniya, ug gibutang niya ang bata sa ilang taliwala.
Ug siya miingon: “Sa pagkatinuod sultihan ko kamo, gawas kon kamo mausab ug mahisama sa gagmayng mga bata, dili gayod kamo makasulod sa gingharian sa langit.
Busa, bisan kinsa nga mokuha sa ubos nga katungdanan niining bataa mao ang labing daku sa gingharian sa langit.
Ug bisan kinsa nga magadawat sa usa ka bata nga ingon niini sa akong ngalan, nagadawat kanako.

Tan-awa nga dili ninyo tamayon ang usa niining mga gagmay.
Kay sultihan ko kamo nga ang ilang mga anghel sa langit kanunayng makakita sa nawong sa akong Amahan sa langit.
