If you've ever wanted to eat at an art gallery, San Francisco restaurant 'Palette' has you covered. This SoMa venue explores the intersection of food and art by bringing a restaurant and gallery together under one roof. From the dishware handcrafted by local artists to the paintings and photographs hanging on the walls, artistry is incorporated into every facet of your experience.

The gallery reopened in October 2020 with a food photography exhibit called 'Flavors of Photography' featuring Bay Area artists. Currently, the gallery is not serving food and drinks due to COVID-19 safety guidelines. In the future, Chef-owner Peter Helmsley envisions transforming the space into a lounge at night with a unique food and drink menu. With rotating exhibits every two months and menus that change with the seasons, there's always something new to experience.
