Let's Chalk about Memberships💕💕

Listen, I know how disappointing it can be for my beautiful subscribers who cannot join memberships to have the feeling of missing out on my content.

I know, and I am sorry truly. But the fact is this - more content equals more work and more money.

And while to some extent this CHALK is a hobby i enjoy, at some point I cannot bear the cost alone. It costs money to search for new textures. It costs money to develop new mixes. It costs money to set up my studio. Above all, it costs time and energy. And some may wonder, but UPJ, you have 500k+ subs and thousands of daily views. Surely you make enough money to cover all this. The answer is BARELY. hehe. If I was smart and didnt spent so much on my hearts desires then maybe what I made from youtube could be enough (I am not monetised on Instagram or Tiktok sadly).

But if I was ONLY money conscious and created only according to youtube budget then I would not be happy! I would not be able to try all the new chalks, and dyes and topping and mixes I want. If I have to keep doing this activity then I have two conditions. First, it always has to be FUN - enjoyment is non negotiable (hehe), and second, it has to make financial sense to me. And that is common sense. Never do anything, not matter how fun it is, if it is taking money out of your pocket.

But believe it or not, money is not the only reason for this decision. The other reason is COMMUNITY. Listen there are facts we have to live with and one fact is that in the beginning, with fewer subscribers there was more of a peaceful community vibe. But now the comments section here and for most creators is TOXIC. Sorry to say but this is a fact. I do not know if it is the newbies, or who is is doing this level of trolling but I cannot connect with you all when everyday there is some toxicity.

Like, a whole GIN was driven away by unkind people. Timestampers trying to live their best lives are constantly abused. What is the meaning of all this? So this is a chance to have a community in peace. Who ever is willing to pay to access more of me is likely to do this because they truly want to connect with me and the rest of the community. AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR THAT level of connection and peace with some of you.

Now I know that a lot of you are students and are not able to pay for anything for the moment. And to you i say, I LOVE YOU, NO PRESSURE, AND DO NOT WORRY. I will still connect with you in my daily posts. God willing, whenever you can, join us in the memberships for a deeper connection.

I cannot wait to see my darling members this Friday at 5pm Swiss time for a LIVE TOUR of my studio. As I am writing now I am frantically cleaning and clearing the space to get it decent for our live (and this costs money, case in point).
