The Mod Pro has been one of the most successful boards we've ever had at Boardshop and the Mod Up offers more Mid Length performance in better waves whilst maintaining insane paddle power and wave catching ability. The Mod Up is a performance mid-length that competes with boards like the Channel Islands M23 and Firewire Boss Up.

The Mod Up is hand crafted here in the UK by Luke Hart and his team at Colab surfboards using only the finest materials and finished to an immaculate standard.

The Mod Up is a fast paddling board with parallel rails through the middle of the board to give drive and speed, single concave runs through the board and then double through the fins and a little Vee through the tail for release and control. The thumb tail is very versatile and completes the set up to deliver an agile feeling board.

This is a really pleasing board both aesthetically and when surfing, its feel right. The rails don't feel chunky even in the bigger sizes, they are perfectly foiled into the tail area to work with the rocker line give to allow easy release off the rail. The nose and tail rocker is spot on to keep the board responsive, not too aggressive but enough maintain speed through turns, this board delivers tight and fast turns. One of the aims with this board was to keep the same feel in bigger or punchier waves as you get when its chest high for example, some boards like this get clunky in bigger stuff, not so with the Mod Up its super smooth in all conditions.
