Review of cheap cell phone plans under $5 that give new phone number! I personally used many low cost mobile phone plans for several months, and in this video I explain the pros cons of three I found to be best!

Cheap mobile phone plans help save money and are also best for an emergency phone number for child, or a second phone number for yourself, or for when you don't want to give out your primary mobile phone number. Having a second number (or burner phone number) adds awesome convenience.

CHEAP MOBILE CELL PHONE SERVICES
I personally tried many cheapest cell phone plans, kept them on for months and still use two of these! Here are my best finds, all still available in March 2024

1) ULTRA MOBILE $3 monthly plan
* Includes 100 talk min, 100 texts, 100 MB internet
* Addnl: 3 cent per min, 1 cent for text, 3 cent per MB internet
* If needed, upgrade service to higher level plan from $15 a month
* Service is awesome, receive 2 Factor Authentications, setup whats App etc

T-Mobile used to offer this cheap phone service directly. Recently TMobile bought Ultra Mobile company and now offers this lowest priced wireless cell phone plan through Ultra Mobile. Order the SIM card through the company website which takes you to their ebay account. Price is $13 that includes $3 for first month and price of SIM starter kit. When you activate service there will be $3 preloaded in your account.

2) US MOBILE, $2 PER MONTH:
$2 = 500 talk and text, 100 MB data
$5 = 2500 talk & text, 500 MB data
I have used their service for 3 years! It is probably one of the hidden gems of mobile phone companies! They are not in any retail store and sell their services online, and for super cheap! Their service runs on E-SIM, SIM card, and non-SIM card (Verizon) network. Customer service is awesome too. Order SIM online to receive by mail, or activate instantly for eSIM enabled phone. I started out with $2 plan and upgraded to $5 per month plan and still have this service and very happy with it.

3) TEXTNOW, *FREE* through app
* Unlimited calls, make and receive
* Unlimited texts, send and receive
* absolutely FREE !! unbelievable
* Catch??? must use service through their app
* they run ads in the app
* can't use number for 2 factor authentication
* order SIM card if this will be your primary number

This is one of my best finds. Absolutely FREE phone number (2nd phone number) and that works through the app - which means I do not have to use another SIM card. My phone takes only 2 SIMs which I am already using, so this app based phone number worked perfectly. Company is based in Ontario, Canada with regional office in California. Get USA or Canada phone number for free, with works internationally on WiFi -- OMG! I could not believe it. When I was overseas I texted and called someone in USA and calls were clear and texts were fast in real time - better than my paid roaming service!! UNBELIEVABLE! ... highly recommended as a 2nd phone number. The catch? Must use the phone service to keep it active, but overall LOVE this phone number and I use it often.

MY SUGGESTION:
All three low cost cell phone plans work perfectly, and after six months I am still using US Mobile service in my family, and personally still use TextNow as a 2nd phone number for when I do not want to give out my primary number.. just need to keep it active. I used these cheapest phone service as individual lines, not as family plan. However, US Mobile gives the option to use these cheap home plans for 2 lines at a time.
