The First Unity Voices have performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City and at several Global Spiritual events. In high demand for good reason, they are Multi faceted, vibrant, exciting and always inspiring. Our music Selections are made by Rev. Wanda Nero Butler, Music Director at First Unity Spiritual Campus and a Stellar Awards nominated and GMWA Excellence Award winning singer / songwriter. Coined the “Princess of Gospel,” Atlanta-based Wanda Nero Butler has been a force in Gospel music for thirty years, since her breakthrough debut album, Reach for His Love, charted on Billboard Magazine’s Gospel Top 40. Her follow-up album, New Born Soul, charted in the Top 20, and solidified her place in the Gospel pantheon, and she would go on to release five more studio albums and a number of acclaimed singles. Raised in a musical family, and daughter to prominent Bishop Reverend Nero, Wanda is best known for hit songs “Hey Y’all,” “Higher Lord,” and “I’m Identified.”
