Are you selling on Amazon and notice that an order can appear as “Pending” from time to time? Do you ask yourself “Why is my Amazon order pending?”

Amazon has a logical reason for this and other scenarios you should also learn about.

In this video, I share with you different scenarios in the Amazon FBA process that would explain the main reasons why your orders appear as Pending, why it happens, and most importantly, how to deal with it! Sometimes the seller is not at fault at all, and it really boils down to the customer’s behavior. Regardless, it helps for you to be aware so you won’t panic.

First, it may be because when the order was placed, one of the FBA items was most likely Out of Stock. This is Amazon’s problem to deal with if they lost any of your inventory units. Secondly, the customer may have experienced issues with their Credit Card authorization. Another common reason is that the buyer selected Convenience Store payment but hasn’t completed it. Another scenario is that the buyer qualified for Free Shipping on all orders, and still needs to collect these items. You will just have to be patient with the customer for these and let them handle it.
