Checking out my (new to me) 1998 Gibson CL-20 Standard Plus after a new bone saddle and 12-54 gauge setup. Solid Sitka Spruce with abalone rosette/solid mahogany back/sides with rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and headstock overlay. Grover rotomatics. Otherwise this is the last line Ren Ferguson helped Gibson produce and once they began outselling other models, they actually became the Songwriter models of today.

Some quick specs/
Full 25.5” scale
Bone saddle (shaped/sanded to height and added by me, may have an original Tusq nut)
Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood fretboard, bridge, back and sides.
Rosewood headstock overlay
Grover Rotomatic chrome tuners
Songwriter style fretboard end, pickguard and bridge
Bone bridge pins with abalone dot (added by me)
Removed a screwed in strap pin from the back of the guitar at the neck block. Filled with mahogany dowel strips from my pal Dave at MoonlightLuthiers. Trying to color match and touch up.

Leather strap and Martin headstock strap holder are mine.

Love the sound and playability of this guitar, even have 12-54 gauge coated Martin Authentic strings on it and it plays great. Truss rod adjusted for perfect playability (for me anyway!)

Hope the audio doesn’t have noise in the background. I turned off all devices and am trying out a new rotating phone mount to record with. Fun times! But your feedback is always welcome and never hurts my feelings.
