Copperplate Calligraphy Variations | Ligatures (Part 1)

In this short video I'm explaining the meaning of a Copperplate calligraphy ligature and I'm showing several examples where applying a ligature may create an interesting effect or it may be too forced.

The words I'm demonstrating are: attention, the, contact, hint, vintage and roller.

TOOLS I USE

— Nib: Hunt 101
— Recommended nib for beginners: Nikko G or Zebra G
— Holder: Oblique for right and left handers. Straight pen holder for left handers.
— Ink: Walnut crystals
— Paper: Canson Marker 70gsm
