The cong shaped bottle is a porcelain shape dating back to the Southern Song Dynasty. It is similar to the jade cong of the Liangzhu culture in the Neolithic. It is square and long with a bottom. The upper and lower short necks and short circles of feet are rounded. The four corners of the cong shaped bottle are simplified into long and short lines. This type of cong shaped bottle was common in the Southern Song Dynasty, and the most simple way was to use the Hangzhou Tiger Cave as a cylinder with four corners outside, belonging to the initial design period. The Longquan kiln is molded, with a relatively thin body and a large quantity; There are also copper and wooden cong shaped bottles in the Suining cellar in Sichuan, which are speculated to be also used in ceremonies. In the Ming Dynasty, this type of vessel was used as a vase, called the "Yarrow Vase". The larger one was used in the hall, while the smaller one was used as a vase in the study.
