Well this is certainly a first. My friend and I have been on a mission to figure out bottom fishing. Being bold we went out at night to get the lowlight bite. We did not have the most optimism, but we certainly should have. Using my 2lbs of lead I dropped the baits into the twilight zone. I hooked up to something nice and thought it was a kahala the entire time. Little did I know it was one of the most unique and tasty fish I have ever caught. I am officially the first person to do this from a kayak on the island of Kauai.
