Killington, VT - ◊ Superstar After Fresh Snowmaking! (3-23-22) [4K]

Описание к видео Killington, VT - ◊ Superstar After Fresh Snowmaking! (3-23-22) [4K]

This is (partially) a repeat of an earlier video, but I decided to include it as its own video because of the unique experience I had on it this time!

Superstar is a diamond-rated trail under a namesake lift at Killington. It is relatively steep and is famous for its late-season presence, often staying open until June for those who insist on spending like $80 for skiing one trail when it's 75° outside. Also, it is also known for its early-season presence since it hosts the FIS Killington Cup in November.

Snow was being made on Superstar as of the date of this recording, which is the latest I have ever seen snowmaking efforts in a ski season around here! I see the snow lasting until at least the third week of May at this point

Advice: The headwall and lower sections are by far the more difficult sections of the trail. Just take it slow unless you know what you're doing! Additionally, the lower part of the trail can be skipped by taking High Road to the right (although the sign is a little obscure if you're not looking for it).

Overall Difficulty: 6/10
Relative Difficulty (Diamond): 7/10
Accessibility Rating: 8/10 (Headwall is only accessible from the Superstar lift but the rest can be reached through Skyelark or Launch Pad)
Enjoyment Rating: 8/10 (it was really cool to ski on top of the huge mounds of snow)

I still consider myself a beginner in terms of my experience with my GoPro. I hope to improve the camera angle later on.
