Fiat Scudo / Citroen Jumpy / Peugeot Expert DIY Camper/ van conversion / Beste VW T5 T6 Alternative

Moin Zusammen,
vor knapp 4 Jahren war ich auf der Suche nach einer günstigen Bus / Van Basis für einen kompletten Camper Umbau. Da es ebenfalls mein Alltagswagen werden sollte, musste es ein kompakter Wagen mit mindestens 4 Sitzplätzen sein. VW T5 / T6 oder Mercedes Vito waren mir damals zu teuer und so musste eine Alternative her. Die Basis des Fiat Scudo L2H1 (baugleich Citroen Jumpy, Peugoet Partner) besitzt ausreichend Sitzplätze, einen riesigen Innenraum und war deutlich günstiger als die Konkurrenz. Der Umbau hat neben dem Job knapp einen Winter gedauert.
Dieser Bus hat nun alles an Board, was einen kompakter Camper benötigt. Eine große Küchenzeile inkl. Kühlbox und Spüle, sehr viel Stauraum, ein ausklappbares Bett, eine separate Elektrik inkl. Solaranlage und 4 Sitzplätze.

Almost 4 years ago I was looking for a cheap bus / van base for a complete camper conversion. Because it has to become my daily, it had to be a compact car with at least 4 seats. VW T5 / T6 or Mercedes Vito were too expensive for me at that time, so an alternative had to be found. The base of the Fiat Scudo L2H1 (identical to Citroen Jumpy, Peugoet Partner) has enough seats, a huge interior and was significantly cheaper than the competition.While also working in fulltime job, the conversion took me one winter to complete.
This bus now has everything on board that a compact camper needs. A large kitchenette including cool box and sink, plenty of storage space, a foldable bed, a separate electrical system including a solar system and 4 seats.
