It has not felt like June...summer where are you?! We have had very strong winds and lots of rain. The plus points, our water tanks have refilled and it gives us time to sort/organise more of our outbuildings. The sea thrift has fully emerged and wow, it always takes my breath away. A big project for the Estate Team has been painting the gable ends, enabling us to reach and explore new heights. The highlight, to end the last couple of weeks, a mini holiday on the Isle of Man, where we swapped the work clothes for our glad rags to attend an event at Government House. World's away from the Calf but a real treat!
