This my first attempt at a planted tank with the aim of creating a beautiful indoor aquaponics unit that both looks good and provides salad crops. Stage 1 is to get the tank set up, once that is done I can start looking at siphoning excess nutrients off for the crops.

NOTE - this is my first tank, I have no doubt I have made many mistakes and will continue to do so while I learn but I thought I'd post the journey. If you want to have a go yourself I wouldn't advise copying my set up until we know it works!
