WMATA Metrorail 7000 Series Railcars on Red Line

My first recorded ride on the New 7000 Series railcars, WMATA ordering 748 7000 Series Railcars they will replaced the 1000, 4000, & 5000 series railcars.

7k Order
64 for Silver Line Phase 1
300 to replace 1k cars in 2016-2017
100 to replace 4k cars in 2018
64 for Silver Line Phase 2
192 to replace 5k cars in 2019-2020
The last 28 7k cars will be use for the Red line to eliminate the turn back between Silver Spring and Grosvenor stations on rush hour

Traction system: Toshiba SEA-430 AC with IGBT-VVVF Inverter
