On December 7th, 1930 in San Francisco, California, 35 year old nurse Marieta Cruz was working the night shift at the Magdalen insane asylum when she caught a glimpse of something scurrying down the hallway in the darkness.

She decided to investigate to see what it was. What happened that night left her in a comatose state for 2 years. When she came out of it she was able to tell the events that took place that night in grim detail.
