Wray: [background music] My name is Wray. I have had crowns done and a full mouth restoration here at Nu Smile Dental.

Jeremy Thompson: Wray is a down-to-earth guy who just wanted to smile. He had some damage on his teeth and he had an unsightly appearance to his smile to the point that he would not part his lips. But he's a really nice guy and he's a fun person. And so smiling would be a normal part of his life if it weren't for his handicap, you might call it.

Wray: Growing up in a family where the women in my family have beautiful white teeth. Chewing tobacco since 16 years old, really, showed. And being a coffee drinker on top of it, I felt like my smile never rose to the occasion. It was a struggle with confidence on a day-to-day basis. After a few bad dental experiences going from place to place, I had just given up completely. The bottom of my teeth was starting to rot out all around. The gum lines, everything. Which was causing mass cavities, infection. I couldn't take it. I couldn't figure out what was going on. So, I found Dr. Thompson's office and they not only got me out of pain, they helped give me a bunch of different options. And after going home and looking in the mirror, I had just decided that it was enough.

Jeremy: We told him what could be possible, and we went forward with some treatment. It involved some implants, involved several crowns. The smile you see on him today was done in one visit. He was very fearful of having the work done. So we just made that a non-issue by providing IV sedation for Ray.

Wray: I never would have been able to get through it without that extra help and added care that I didn't even know existed. But it was an option that was presented to me which was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. They had just blew my mind. They had changed what I believed was the way dental practices worked. And the first time that I looked in the mirror, I was struck with disbelief. The more that I smiled at myself back and forth, it just became apparent that "Oh my gosh. I have amazing teeth." I don't think I could give Dr. Thompson and his staff enough appreciation that could ever, ever convey how I really feel. I love these teeth.
