Adding a vise to my workbench - Made by Magnus

It was time to add a vise to my workbench that I built recently. This is how I did it!

I've chosen to use softwood for the jaws on this vise to see how it will hold up over time. I also prefer to having dents in my vise rather than damage the piece I'm working on.

So with the vise in place, it's now ready to replace my old worktable that consisted of a sheet of plywood over two sawhorses. However, the sawhorses are very sturdy and I built them according to Jay Bate's design.
