In this session, Matthew Ulery, Vice President of Product Management at Micro Focus, review how approaches have evolved, key reasons organizations have failed or are failing, and how we apply the lessons we have learned. There is a key driver toward simplicity which is begin addressed with automation, orchestration and analytics. It is easy, though, for each of these to create a new layer of complexity distracting us from addressing the core objective. The future of IAM starts with balancing simplicity and effectiveness. Simplicity must be achieved without giving up capability. Analytics and automations must be applied to enable the right balance of simplicity and effectiveness.
