This video is probably confusing if you’ve never watched a certain movie. Noah and I found out that Memento was on both of our top 3 movies of all time list. So when we met up in Seattle, we decided to make a cooking video inspired by it.

In the movie, the scenes are played out of order so it takes awhile to understand what’s going on. The clips in this video are played backwards similar to Memento and even though the salmon is the last thing we cooked, I placed it at the beginning.

Also in the movie, the main character (Lenny) has short term memory so he takes Polaroids of places and people to remember what they are. That’s why you see the Polaroids of the salmon, fingerling potatoes, and shishito peppers.

And lastly, Lenny writes down “Don’t believe his lies” on one of the pictures which is another aspect we tied into this video. Obviouslyyyy, Noah can cook as the whole entire video demonstrates lol
