My first encounter with the turtles was the Mirage Comics. I grew up knowing and loving the darker and grittier side of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. While I still enjoy the lighter cartoons, I was ecstatic when Good Smiles, a Japanese company, got the license to sculpt TMNT figures.

Finally, after decades, the turtles get figures that honor the darker side. Here's to many more.
