Wednesday, September 3, for the 32nd "First Wednesday" monthly global vigils calling for the closure of the "war on terror" prison at #Guantanamo, where 15 men are still held in various states of fundamental lawlessness.

At the vigils, we will also be calling for an end to the ongoing use of Guantanamo to hold migrants seized in the vile and racist "war on migrants" that Donald Trump declared when he took office in January. Nearly two months ago, it was reported that 72 migrants from a variety of countries were being held, including 26 allegedly convicted of serious crimes.
