9.500Rpm VW Scirocco Mk1 || Amazing Sound FWD Monster

While participating in a very limited number of races, Roland Eder and his newly built VW Scirocco 16V were super impressive and very quick off the mark in each event they entered, as we can see here on both St. Anton and St. Agatha, where the duo was able to secure podium spot on the super competitive E1-2000 Class but also position themselves on the final Top 10 among all Touring Cars present.

Powered by a Naturally Aspirated 2.0L 16V engine producing over 280Hp at very audible 9.500Rpm, this FWD machine benefits from its low weight (surely under 800Kg although we d not have the precise number) coupled to the fantastic chassis and low Gravity Center of the Mk1 Scirocco. Hopefully we´ll see much more of it next year and possibly on an even more evolved spec....
