Vitali Klitschko had to deliver part of a rally speech under an umbrella not because of rain but because of flying eggs. Pro-Russian protesters made their feeling clear as the senior Ukrainian politician spoke to supporters in the eastern city of Kharkiv. One of Klitschko's entourage brought out the brolly to prevent the eggs from hitting him. However, he used his boxing skills to duck the smelly missiles. Hundreds of people were in Kharkiv with many Ukrainian flags and "no war" banners. It comes as a referendum is due to be held in the Crimea region over whether people want to be a part of Russia and not Ukraine. However, the ballot paper is being criticised for not having specific questions on whether people want to remain a part of Ukraine. Report by Ashley Fudge.
