It was an awesome night of ministry and music that blessed thousands. On February 22, 2002, a SRO (standing room only) crowd gathered at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Norcross, GA to take part in the first live CD and video recording of the Gospel Heritage Praise & Worship Conference Mass Choir. Phenomenal guest artists including Evangelist Beverly Crawford, Lecresia Campbell, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr., Desmond Pringle, Pastor Bruce Parham, Kim Burrell and Vickie Winans joined in to make the concert majestic night of musical praise and worship. The evening, MC'd by Pastor Juandolyn Stokes, was a jewel in the crown of a stunning weekend that is still sending reverberations of awe throughout the Gospel industry.

It finally happened! Gospel artists and executive came together to move their own industry forward. This conference is just one step in God's plan to position and unite His people. As the visionary for this conference, Teresa Hairston, founder of "Gospel Today and Gospel Industry Today Magazines", forges a new chapter in Gospel history with a conference that celebrates Praise & Worship as a lifestyle! This recording and video benefits the Gospel Heritage Foundation, and is the first in a series of "Gospel Today Presents..."

Gospel Today Magazine began in 1989 as 4-page newsletter called "The SCORE." It is an entrepreneurial pursuit that started with $300 and a dream. Today, GT is America's Leading Christian Lifestyle Magazine. Hairston's testimony is and inspiration to entrepreneurs and single parents who dare to dream - even when circumstances encourage them to quit. The Gospel Heritage Foundation was launched in 1996. It is a non-profit organization that seeks to preserve and perpetuate the legacy of Gospel. The goal of GHF is to establish an International Gospel Heritage Center, where people can learn about Gospel's rich heriatge and become part of its bright future.
