Here is my Budget breakdown of my 30 days trip in MAdagascar

Flights - Bengaluru - Mumbai - 5000 RS
Mumbai - Adis Ababa - Antananaviro - 23,000Rs
Antananaviro - Adis ababa - Mumbai [ Return] - 52,000 [Fully refundable]
Mumbai - Bengaluru - 5000

Visa on Arrival at Antananaviro airport - 35 dollars for 30 days 45 dollars for 45 days, I took 30 days 3000 rs [ Beware of asking for gift by immigration officials at the airport, I had to give 10 dollars as bribe to enter the country]

Stay - 750 Rs to 1000 rs per day for 20 days - 20,000 {stayed in friends home rest of the days]

Food and beverages - 1000 rs a day -30,000rs

Bike hire [Half day] - 1500 rs

Transport [Use sea trans bus service, book your bus 2 to 3 days in advance ] - 8000 Rupees

Local city transport and taxi - 4000

Miscellaneous expenses - 20,000 rs {gifts to hosts ,tips, bus back to home in blore, guiding fees, entrance fees, parking]

Total Budget 1,72,000
