Speaking on Gaza’s worsening crisis, Norway’s Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Kravik expressed deep concern, calling the situation a “dystopian nightmare” as over 45,000 Palestinians have lost their lives, with many still trapped under rubble. Kravik underscored Israel’s failure to meet its international legal obligations to provide aid access and collaborate with humanitarian efforts.


Stressing accountability, he urged the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to clarify Israel’s responsibilities. He praised global efforts led by Chile, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia, noting that 137 nations support resolutions demanding unrestricted humanitarian access to Gaza.
