Annnnnd just a few days later, one section of the highway up north became flooded! If it's flooded, forget it! I'm glad I visited the beach when I did, because it's been very rainy for five days since this trip. I found heaps of different species of moon snails (in the USA, you might call them Sharkeye moon snails!), as well as a lot of beautiful and varied bivalves! I think the Orange Cockle with protective periostracum was my favourite! Thank you so much for watching!~

Oh no, they're all scientific names? No worries, just type the scientific name
into the Queensland Museum Network database. It might have a common name listed!
