The third event of this winter marble sports tournament on homemade marble runs is bobsleigh.

Each team will have one run with all four marbles trying to complete this course together as quickly as possible. The time registered will be taken from the moment the first marble crosses the line. The remaining marbles then have 0.5 seconds to cross the line without incurring any additional time penalty. Any time beyond the 0.5 seconds will be added onto that team’s total. If two teams are tied, whichever has the quickest initial time, disregarding time penalties, will be placed higher.

The Winter Marblympics sees 16 national marble teams competing for medals and points towards winning the latest Makeshift Marblympics championship.

16 national marble teams will compete in 8 events on homemade tracks to be crowned champion. 10 teams have qualified through the previous Marblympics tournament, 4 teams are brand new, and 2 teams have been invited to return having been eliminated from past Marblympics events.
