Highlights of the 13 km treacherous drive along the New Campbellton Road in Victoria County, NS. It has been labeled by many users as the worst road in Cape Breton.

This is a 150 yr old road connecting two beautiful communities to the highway, New Campbellton and Cape Dauphin. At the end of this road is the trail to the Glooscap Cave which is part of the Kluscap Wilderness Preserve. This is a popular destination for many for cultural purposes as well as to enjoy the hiking trail.

UPDATE: Our pleas were heard and since this video was shot about 5 km of the road was graded (it only took 2.5 hrs and a great job). The road has little to no gravel surface so this is just a temporary fix but we are most appreciative. We are still waiting for the rest of the road to be done. We have heard rumours that there will be a rebuild done on part of the road. That would be amazing but we really need the whole road to be done.
