I said that I'd be unhappy with Kefka's rework if he couldn't solo Shinryu lufenia, and DE 20. Well I'm happy to report I was able to do one of those things, and I do think he can solo 20 with Amidatelion's call, but seeing as I don't have Ami, and cant reach DE20 with my JP roster you'll have to wait for all of Kefka's new toys to come to GL before I can show that off.


Thoughts on Kefka's Rework, BT+, and Lvl 90: Kefka has finally become of the best units in the game again. His rework is fantastic. I would have liked trine to have 3 hp dumps like it does in NT, and for Light of Judgment to get brv in between HP dumps like Locke, but I'm still happy with it. His Lvl 90 irks me a bit though. Sneering Clown was unchanged even though its a bit of an out dated debuff, and I don't know what the hell they were thinking with meteor. Seriously!? Only a single HP dump, and no recast gauge increase to keep it in line with other transformed Brv/Hp atks. Kefka also didn't get any brv gain increases, so that brv refund from meteor, and his brv regen from his LD boards might as well not be there. His BT finally got the love it so desperately needed. It would have been nice if it's duration was 10 instead of 8, given how blindingly fast Kefka is, but I'll let it slide since the BT effect can hang with the best of them (Garland/Bartz/Machina etc.), and his BT phase is also quite impressive hitting 5mil without proper set up on two targets, and going 7-8, hell even 9+ mil with proper set u! Overall I''m quite pleased with him, and I will be doing a new Kefka guide soon. Hopefully next balance pass Kefka can get a meteor, and regens worth a damn. Also some golden frames, because his conditional his both hard to hit, and maintain if there is ANY cleanse at all.
