A case of "B*UTAL M*RD*R" that occurred on 8.12.2025 at Bapuji nagar, Musheerabad, Secunderabad, where the accused by name Dukka Uma Shanker was arrested in this case and being produced before the Hon'ble Magistrate for judicial custody.
Complainant : Smt Jadaga Laxmi, W/o Kantharao, Age: 35 years, Caste: Yadav, Occ: Labour, R/o Bapujinagar, Musheerabad, Secunderabad FACTS:-
On 08.12.2025, the complainant reported that they are native of Srikakulam District and migrated to Hyderabad for their livelihood and working as daily wage labours. She is blessed with two daughters by name Pavitra & Revathi, One year ago the accused Uma Shanker who is their distant relative came to their house, proposed for mamying her daughter Pavitra. Accordingly, they accepted perform marriage on suitable dates after discussing with the elders. On 06.12.2025, the complainant, her husband and their two daughters went to Vijayawada to fulfill a religious vow. On 07.12.2025 at around 10:00 PM they reached their house. On 08.12.2025, at around 12:15 PM, all of sudden the accused came to their house without intimation. At that time, the complainant, her two daughters were present at home, while her husband had gone out for work. Uma Shankar started arguing with them. questioning why they had taken_Pavitra to Vijayawada without informing him or taking his permission. Pavitra told Uma Shankar that he had been harassing her by calling her in a drunken state and that she disliked his behavior. While the argument was going on, the complainant went to drink water. At that moment, Uma Shankar suddenly took out a knife which he had brought with him and stabbed Pavitra on her Throat, thrown his phone and Knife and fled from the spot. Due to heavy bleeding, Pavitra di*d on the spot, The incident of stabbing took place at about 13.30 hours
INVESTIGATION:
Since the day of offence, the investigation officer along with his team followed the CCTV Footages which resulted fruitful information for apprehension of the accused. On 10.12.2025, it is observed that the accused person is found moving towards Skandagiri temple, Chilkalguda, Immediately directed the team for apprehension of the accused person.

Accordingly, the team spotted the accused at about 10.10 hours at his brother house and brought him to the police station and- produced him before 1.0. On questioning him, he disclosed his name and particulars, confessed his guilt that he had committed the offence that he had stabbed on the throat of the deceased with sharp edged knife which he brought with him with intention to kill and thrown his phone and Knife on the spot and fled away. Further he stated that for rejecting him he k**lled the deceased at the complainant residence. On that the 1.0 secured the presence of panchas and in their presence conducted confessional cum seizure panchanama and seized cash amount of ₹1,10,000/-, a Realme Smart Phone, and one wallet from the pockets of his pants which contains (1) SBI Rupay Card, (2) Aadhaar Card, (3) PAN Card, and (4) Central Bank Rupay Card of the deceased.
