It seems that steel prices have bottomed out for the time being and are on recovery mode owing to improved sentiments on account of rate cuts in Europe and USA. The central banks of China and India (RBI) will now be under pressure to cut rates.
Also there has been a situation of supply shortage specially in long products due to the closure of VSP (running at 23% capacity) and fall in wire rod production at JSPL.
The escalating war situation in most parts of the world can also lead to price rises.
