How to Connect PS5 Controller to your Windows 11 PC (Wireless Bluetooth)

To connect your PS5 controller to your Windows 11 PC, you have a couple of options. Let’s walk through them:

Bluetooth Pairing:
Make sure your PS5 controller is charged.
Turn on pairing mode by following these steps:
Ensure the player indicator on the controller is off. If it’s on, press and hold the PS button until it turns off.

Disconnect any USB cable connected to the controller.
While pressing and holding the Create button, press and hold the PS button until the light bar blinks.

Enable Bluetooth on your PC and select the controller from the list of Bluetooth devices.

Once paired, the light bar will blink, and the player indicator will light up.
Note that a controller can be paired with only one device at a time, so if you switch devices, you’ll need to pair it again.
Wired Connection:
Grab your PS5 controller and the USB cable that came with it.
Plug the USB cable into your controller.
Connect the USB to an available USB port on your PC.
Wait until your PC recognizes the hardware and installs the necessary drivers.

Once the drivers are installed, Windows will notify you that the controller is ready for use.
