Opening Rainbow High Colour Change Car with Cheerleader Sunny Madison. Also comparing the RH car to the Bratz car. I can see this car on a few wishlists for Xmas 2021, lord knows it was mine! The 6 main colours were expected but I did not expect the disco flashing lights at the end. The colours make the car a fun accessory in shadow but do not show up well during daytime. I can see that being a slight disappointment for children, however the car looks fine without the colour change. Given the only time this car's main feature is usable, is during dark environments, the car is a little on the expensive side. A bog standard Barbie car can be picked up for around NZ$30 - the feature of colour change is the big draw card here.

Compared to the Bratz car it does lack a little of the 'attention to detail', but does still look posh enough to warrant attention and collectability from collectors like me. It is also a WHITE product which means that it will not be an easy product to source on the secondhand market in nice condition. For this reason alone I did not want to leave finding it to the toy gods in Thrift Stores. Clearing marks of pure white products can be a pain in the neck as 'quick fixes' like acne cream can turn the treated areas yellow after a few months from previous toy restoration product experience. (Remember acne cream can continue to lighten even after you have removed the product - something I learnt a long time ago when I first started toy restoration, use with caution).

Sunny Madison doll is spot on, again. Her looks, her clothes, the tie in on the hairs ribbons to her pom poms is gorgeous (kiss the air in approval)!
