2021 Northland Surfing

Northland is an amazing part of New Zealand with many surf breaks spread around the coast. We hope that all visitors take a good vibe and show respect to the land and people who live there.

Equally, we hope that those who have been living there several years also understand that they don't own the surf and if they are of only limited ability, not to be uptight about others who are on their own path of discovery.

As the rule goes, good surfers don't hassle or get uptight because they are good enough to get any wave they want on any day they want. They also remember that surfing is about fun and being at one with our universe.
